☆Nutcrew☆
Nutzcrew was form in 2005 by Hiphop Choreographer Muhd Jamyl aka Jesta Jay. He went back as an alumni to contribute back to his secondary school (Juying Sec Sch).
He believes that kids are the future and by grooming them in the right way, they could be winners and champions n most importantly make their love ones proud of them.
Being the 1st yr back in 2005, the lil nutz was sent to join the danceworks 2005 when they were just Sec 1. Hoping to gain experience, we did not even aim for anything awards. With god blessings, we got into the finals.
Since getting to the finals, choreographer Jesta Jay thought instead of just going into the finals for fun, they might as well train their very best to win n thus the most intensive hiphop trainin being.
They then brought glory to the school by clinching 1st runner up in the finals and the winnings starts to begin..
Since then nutzcrew has come out wit many talented hiphop groups such as Freekzy Nutz, Funky Nutz n Lil Nutz. Winning competition like Gold With Honors for SYF 2009, Singapore best dance crew Varsity n Open, Gold with honors and overall best dance crew in Genting Highlands World Dance Festival, Champion on both the Secondary and Open cat for Danceworks, Champions in Dance Breathe, Dance Explosion and the list goes on.
Our latest addition the is promising boys from the Freshest nutz who jus won 2nd in both danceworks 2010 and dance bliss 2010 in their 1st yr in the nutzcrew (sec 1's). These new generation of boys are champions in the making. Look out for them.
Nutzcrew is consist of over 90 dancers from Freekzy Nutz, Lil Nutz, Funky Nutz, Phat Nutz, Groovy Nutz and Freshest Nutz!
Nutzcrew, under the wings of Hiphop choreographer Jamyl and his boys of freekzy nutz will carry on improving and sharing their knowledge to the future of the hiphop community which are the kids and hopefully with gods blessings, bringing in new champions each time and putting Singapore Hiphop Dance on the map.
